السؤال: 
في الآية الكريمة: (يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنْ الأَهِلَّةِ قُلْ هِيَ مَوَاقِيتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَالْحَجِّ)، ما هي هذه المواقيت؟
الجواب:
مواقيت المعاملات والآجال والديون المؤجلة،  ومواقيت العبادات، كمواقيت الصلاة، إذا زالت الشمس عن وسط السماء وجب الظهر، إذا صار ظل الشيء مثله فقد دخل وقت العصر، إذا غربت الشمس وجبت صلاة المغرب، إذا غاب الشفق وجبت صلاة العشاء، إذا طلع الفجر وجبت صلاة الفجر، وهكذا جعلها الله مواقيت للعبادات، كما أنها مواقيت للمعاملات، هذه اﻷهلة، وهم سألوا الرسول -صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَسَلَّمْ- قالوا: ما بال الهلال يبدو صغيرًا ثم يكبر، ثم يعود صغيرًا؟،  الله -جَلَّ وَعَلاَ- أجابهم بغير ما سألوا عنه، أجابهم بفوائد الأهلة، كان اللائق أن يسألوا عن فوائد الأهلة، وﻻ يسألوا عن حقيقة الأهلة، الله أرشدهم  إلى أن يسألوا عن ما ينفعهم، وما لهم فيه حاجة، ولا يسألوا عن شيءٍ ليس لهم به حاجة، وليس من شؤونهم، هذا يسمونه أسلوب الحكيم أن يجاب السائل بما يحتاج إليه، وﻻ يجاب عما سأل عنه إذا لم يكن فيه فائدة.
