سؤال: ما صحة قاعدة: (خذ ما صفى ودع  ما كدر) هل القاعدة فاسدة مطلقا أم فيها تفصيل؟
الجواب:
هذه المقولة: (خذ ما صفا ودع ما كدر) يكون الحكم عليها حسب السياق الذي ترد فيه،فإذا كان المراد من ذلك مثلاً: الدعوة إلى أخذ العلم من أهل البدعة والأهواء ومن كتبهم، وأن تأخذ منها ما صفا وتترك ما كدر، أي: ما خالف الشرع، أو دُسَّ في الحق ما ليس منه ، فتكون مقولة مردودة، إذ تخالف ما قرّره أهل العلم من التحذير من أهل البدعة والأهواء ومن كتبهم، إلا بشروط معروفة عند أهل العلم، فاﻟﻘﻠﻮﺏﺿﻌﻴﻔﺔ، ﻭاﻟﺸﺒﻪ ﺧﻄﺎفة.
وندعو الشخص إلى أخذ الحق والعلم النافع من أهل السنة والجماعة صافياً نقياً بلا كدر. 
وإذا كان المراد من هذه المقولة مثلاً، فيما إذا درس درساً أو قرأ في كتاب من كتب أهل العلم، فاتضح له بعض ما درسه وقرأه، وتعكر عليه فهم بعض ما درسه وقرأه، فيدعى إلى الاهتمام بما فهمه وسهل عليه فهمه، ومجاوزة ما تكدّر عليه فهمه إلى وقت لاحق، فيكون معنى هذه المقولة في هذا السياق صحيحاً، وكما قيل:
ﺇﺫا ﻟﻢ ﺗﺴﺘﻄﻊ ﺷﻴﺌﺎ ﻓﺪﻋﻪ ... ﻭﺟﺎﻭﺯﻩﺇﻟﻰ ﻣﺎ ﺗﺴﺘﻄﻴﻊ. والله المستعان.
