تسأل إحدى أخواتي في الله:
إن جُهل حال الميت من حيث إن كان مبتدعا أم سنيا

هل نصلي عليه؟

ج: الأصل الصلاة على كل مسلم.

ومن ثبت أنه مبتدع ولم تبلغ بدعته إلى حد الكفر، فهو
بحاجة إلى صلاة إخوانه المسلمين عليه، ودعائهم وشفاعتهم له.

روى مسلم (948) عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ
اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،
يَقُولُ:«مَا
مِنْ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ، فَيَقُومُ
عَلَى جَنَازَتِهِ أَرْبَعُونَ رَجُلًا، لَا
يُشْرِكُونَ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا، إِلَّا
شَفَّعَهُمُ اللهُ فِيهِ».

إلا أنه بالنسبة للإمام وأهل
الفضل المقتَدى بهم، إذا كانت المصلحة في ترك الصلاة على المبتدع، أو المجاهر
بالمعصية أو قاتل النفس ونحو ذلك، فلا يصلِّي عليه أهل الفضل وولي الأمر؛ ردعًا لأمثالهم،
فقد ثبت عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ:«أُتِيَ
النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِمَشَاقِصَ، فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ»
رواه مسلم (978).
